UAE Chinese imports to spike

The costs of building materials imported from China are set to increase by 10-15% this month, according to the UAE based Danube Building Materials. Costs of imports such as plywood/MDF have seen sharp increases due to the reduction of rebates offered by the Chinese government to export companies, which have dropped from 11% to 5%. China supplies about a third of all the UAE's building materials.
