Sterling eyes Kurdish deals

British oil and gas firm Sterling Energy is hoping to tie up a deal with the Kurdish regional government in northern Iraq shortly, reported Reuters. Commercial Director Paul Griggs said the deal would involve the exploration of specific sites in Kurdistan. Griggs also stated that the recent slump in the firm's share price had no reflection on the company's performance, saying the 'the fundamentals of the business remain unchanged'.
