Credit Suisse announced as Principal Sponsor of the first World Future Energy Summit

The World Future Energy Summit (WFES) is pleased to announce that Credit Suisse is the Principal Sponsor of the summit, organised by Masdar, an initiative launched by under the auspices of the Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company (ADFEC).

Credit Suisse will sponsor the Credit Suisse Innovation Zone, which will highlight technology that will become part of our everyday lives as pressure increases to create sustainable living environments, not just in Abu Dhabi and the Middle East, but throughout the world.
WFES will feature some of the world's foremost specialists and drivers of future energies in an exhibition and conference forum. The conference will host 150 of the world's most renowned speakers and professionals in clean energy alongside a 14,000 square metre exhibition, showcasing the present and future state of alternative energy technologies in what is expected to be the largest dedicated gathering of its kind in the world.
10,000 visitors from across the globe are expected to visit the exhibition and more than 1000 delegates are expected to attend the conference to discuss key issues surrounding sustainable and alternative energy solutions and technologies.

About ADFEC:Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company (ADFEC) is a private joint stock company incorporated in Abu Dhabi and wholly-owned by the government of Abu Dhabi through Mubadala Development Company. ADFEC has been mandated to drive the Masdar initiative, champion the adoption of advanced energy technologies, and contribute to the diversification and sustainable growth of the Abu Dhabi economy. The research projects will address issues of global importance, affecting the more industrially-developed as well as developing countries.
ADFEC will also develop an innovation centre to support the demonstration, commercialisation and adoption of sustainable energy technologies, and a special economic zone tailored to hosting institutions that will invest in development and production of renewable energy technologies and products.
