2008 Model Year Infiniti FX35 at Al Masaood Automobiles

The Infiniti FX35 combines aggressive styling, outstanding performance and handling, luxury car comfort and technology in a truly breakthrough design. The FX35 has enjoyed unprecedented level of success since its introduction, with its unique mix of original looks, styling and comfort and irresistible appeal to trend-setting motorists who place a high premium on image and status.

At the heart of the Infiniti FX is an award-winning 3.5-litre, DOHC, 24-valve V6 engine with aluminum-alloy block and heads, combined with an electronically controlled 'drive-by-wire' throttle system, producing a muscular 289 horsepower and 37.9 kg/m of torque. A 5-speed automatic transmission with manual shift mode, designed for high torque capacity and down shift rev matching is standard.

The 2008 YM FX 35 is equipped with a Ceiling mounted flip down type DVD Entertainment system with a 7 inch Monitor, two wireless headphones and a Remote Control providing high quality entertainment.

The exterior of the FX features a wide, aggressive stance with a long, sleek hood, sleek roof with a power sliding tinted glass sunroof featuring one touch open and close operation, and a dark chrome front grille. The short front and rear overhangs provide SUV-level approach and departure angles, while also helping to accentuate the long wheelbase, wide track and large 20-inch tires.

Wide headlights and taillights extending past the body slightly help create aerodynamic down force help provide an "In-Motion" look to the FX35. Intelligent key and parking sensors provide convenience of operation and parking.

The FX's 2.85m long wheelbase and wide track combined with standard 20-inch wheels and tires provide a stable foundation for on or off-road driving - as well as a large interior for both passengers and cargo. The FX utilizes an enhanced version of the innovative FM (for Front Mid-ship) platform, which positions the engine behind the front axle.

The ATTESA E-TS (Advanced Total Traction Engineering System for All Electronic Torque Split) all-wheel drive system uses an advanced torque split control strategy that automatically transfers optimum torque to the wheels according to road and driving conditions. It provides outstanding cornering capability similar to a sports car due to optimum torque distribution for front and rear.

The five-passenger interior of the FX provides a blend of comfort and amenities, with an array of high tech features for the driver and passengers. The designers created three separate "zones", each personalized for the specific needs of the persons using it.

The "driver zone" maximizes driving excitement through the creation of a cockpit-like feel with driver-oriented controls, 10-way power-adjustable seat with memory function, driver-dedicated automatic air conditioning, 7-inch information display monitor and a three-spoke, leather-wrapped steering wheel with power tilt (moves in tandem with the instrument cluster), integrated cruise control and steering wheel-mounted audio system controls.

The "comfort zone," designed to maximize comfort for the front passenger, includes an 8-way power-adjustable seat, passenger adjustable armrest and individual air conditioning control. The "play zone" offers mobile entertainment from a Bose audio system with 11 speakers and 6-CD in-dash autochanger.

The new FX also features a fine vision meter, 7-inch colour monitor with available rear view monitor, 6-disc in dash CD changer with MP3 capabilities, attractive center console and much more.

From a safety standpoint, every FX model comes with standard dual-stage front supplemental air bags with seat belt sensors, front seat side-impact supplemental air bags and front and rear seat curtain side-impact supplemental air bags.
