Dubai School Agency's ASU to deliver authenticated certificates to schools
- United Arab Emirates: Sunday, August 19 - 2007 at 15:02
- PRESS RELEASE
The Dubai School Agency (DSA), the first agency of the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA), operationally prepared its Administrative Services Unit (ASU) to deliver final authenticated certificates to the respective schools to save the time and efforts of the students and parents.
The ASU changed the mechanics by authenticating the final board certificates in advance to benefit educational stakeholders. Previously, parents had to physically take the certificates from the schools to the Dubai Education Zone for the authentication. There was a procedure to it and it was accompanied by paper work. But with the new system, the ASU asked a representative from every British and Pakistani school to collect the certificates and authenticate them with the Ministry of Education (MoE), before taking them back to school.
Commenting on the new service Fatma Al Marri, CEO of the School Agency says, "This is the first of a series of new services, wherein we attempt to save the time and efforts of the educational stakeholders. I am sure this service will be widely welcomed by the parents and students. This improved service of the School Agency is in line with the decentralization policy of the MoE, giving schools more autonomy. ASU will continue to focus on the newer services of higher quality."
The ASU was launched by the School Agency to look after the administrative operations of schools in the Emirate of Dubai. This newly established unit under the School Agency has a fresh customer-centric approach and uses simplified procedures to save time and effort.
