DM alters camp specifications

The Dubai Municipality has made a number of 'improvements' to the specifications for labour camps to be built in the emirate. Every worker staying in a camp is now entitled to 40 sqft of personal space, while no more than eight labourers should share a single room or bathroom. The regulations also state that no asbestos should be used in the construction and rooms must be air-conditioned.
