H.E. Akel Biltaji, Senator said "The opening of SAE Amman the largest global media arts institute in Amman is a very important milestone for the country and the city. SAE brings with it an international model of education with its established curriculum, state of the art facilities and international lecturers in a very dynamic and fast growing industry in Jordan and the region. It also supports the government's vision to position Jordan as a regional education hub, since the SAE Amman campus will draw students from around the Levant and North Africa region as well as provides the much needed vocational education that will equip students with practical hands on skills to make them fully employable."
Also present at the press conference was Mr. Adnan Awamleh, General Manager Arab Telemedia Services, who provided an historical overview of the media arts industry in Jordan and the region and the many career opportunities that exist for graduates.
"The growth in the digital media art industry has been significant over the past few years. Thus the establishment of SAE Amman is very timely. Students can now get internationally certified in a world class education program, right here in Amman rather than having to travel overseas. Studying and working in your passion in programs such as audio engineering, film making, or broadcast provides limitless career opportunities in a very rewarding profession," said Mr. Awamleh.
"SAE Amman has been a dream of mine for two years as we looked to bring a global media arts education provider to Jordan. That dream is now realized with enrollment now open and our first intake of students will begin their programs with the October intake. Having Marco here to establish the school with his international team, further builds the standards of the value proposition we are offering to Jordan and the region," said Mr. Ibrahim Safadi, CEO SAE Amman, part of the LUMINUS Skills Academy.
"Programs offered by SAE Amman include four streams of digital media arts education - audio engineering, film making, 3D animation and multi-media. Students can either register in a one year international certification program or a two year international and locally certified diploma program in any of the four streams. Both certifications enable students to bridge to any SAE Institute around the globe to further their education. Our enrollment process is up and running and we are thrilled with the response to date," said Mr. Marco Bettelli, Managing Director SAE Amman.
