Iran names deputy oil minister

Iran has appointed Hossein Noghrehkar-Shirazia as its new deputy oil minister for international affairs, Reuters reported. His role will include liaising with foreign firms and countries seeking to invest or reach international energy deals with Iran's Oil Ministry. Noghrehkar-Shirazi replaces Mohammad Hadi Nejad Hosseinian, who retired last year.
