First International Rehabilitation Conference hosted by Tawam Hospital to be held in Al Ain in November

Tawam Hospital, in affiliation with Johns Hopkins Medicine, announced recently that it will host its first International Rehabilitation Conference on the 21st and 22nd of November, 2007, at the Intercontinental Hotel, in Al Ain.

The theme of the conference will be "Modern Rehabilitation: The Holistic Approach" and it aims to provide a forum where current thinking, research and evidence-based practice from a holistic point of view can be discussed. Pre-conference workshops are scheduled for the 20th of November at the same venue.

Keynote speakers for the conference - from United States, Europe and South Africa - will comprise distinguished experts in the field of medical and therapeutic rehabilitation focusing on the areas such as pediatrics, oncology, muscular-skeletal disorders and neurological disorders.
