The projector has been named as the "brightest LCD projector" in the world.

The XF47 is the first SANYO projector to provide a complete HD-Wireless System, capable of receiving uncompressed 720p and 1080i data wirelessly, from distances approximately 100 feet away with less than one millisecond of latency. The projector can provide independent frame-by-frame transmissions, support data rates up to 1.5 Gigabits per second and operate in 20 megahertz bandwidth.

"SANYO has always believed in providing the best to its customers," said Tetsuji Okui, Managing Director at SANYO Gulf FZE. "XF47 is one of our coveted products and has won worldwide acclaim for having the 'world's highest light output.' We are confident that XF47 will be a great hit in the Middle East markets and a treat for all those who have to address public gatherings."

The projector is equipped with Four (4) 330-watt lamps and has been specially made to fulfill the needs of large gatherings, conferences and special events. In case one of the lamps actually burns out during use, the failsafe feature ensures the image is not interrupted. XF47 is able to accept up to twelve different lenses to adjust room and screen size with which it can facilitate projection in different types of locations.

SANYO's XF47 is equipped with Hybrid Crosstalk Canceller technology which helps to easily eliminate ghosting of images and reduce signal interference on the LCD panels. Another notable feature is the Intelligent Sharpness Control which analyzes the signal components and automatically selects the best sharpness setting for an enhanced viewing experience.
