MCIT announces entry of Wipro into Egypt: Wipro to set up a Global Development Center

H.E Dr. Tarek Kamal , Minister of Communications and Information Technology has witnessed today the signing of an MOU between Wipro and the Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA) supporting Wipro to establish a Global IT services Development Center targeting the IT Export Services for the Middle east and Global Markets.

Wipro is the leading Consulting and Information Technology Company from India employing more than 70000 professionals. Wipro would be providing software development, integration and consulting services from this center.

On the occasion H.E Dr. Tarek Kamal , Minister of Communications and Information Technolgy said ' We are delighted that Wipro is setting up a global development center in Egypt. This will give a further impetus to Egypt as an IT Export destination '.

Eng. Mohamed Omran , CEO of ITIDA added 'Wipro is a leading IT services company with strong presence in the Middle East region. We believe that talent transformation processes of Wipro will be of significant value.'
