Trapeze Networks and EMW to demonstrate next generation wireless technology at GITEX 2007
- United Arab Emirates: Monday, August 27 - 2007 at 12:28
- PRESS RELEASE
Trapeze Networks, the award-winning global provider of smart mobile wireless solutions, along with East Meets West (EMW), its Gold Distributor for Middle East region, will demonstrate the new range of products, including the groundbreaking Mobility Point 432 (MP-432) at GITEX 2007.
Feras Zeidan, Regional Manager MEA, Trapeze Networks, said: "GITEX 2007 presents the perfect platform to showcase the enormous progress Trapeze Networks has achieved in the development of wireless technology. Our presentations target senior technology managers and chief information officers at the event.
"The Mobility Point 432 and other products of our new generation smart mobile technology, which support wireless LAN deployments and mission-critical applications, will generate substantial interest among trade professionals."
The MP-432 can operate with existing Trapeze MX switches, dramatically expanding output without the need to upgrade the switching infrastructure. The MP-432 is the first enterprise-level draft 2.0 solution for the 802.11n standard, while it also fully supports legacy protocols such as the 802.11a/b/g.
Serjios EL-Hage, Vice President, East Meets West, said: "With Trapeze Networks, we have a successful partnership. Our products are well-received and have registered sizeable increase in our share in the regional market. We will continue to offer higher value through our newly developed wireless solutions."
Other products to be displayed at the show include Trapeze's high-capacity MX-2800 Controller, the highest-capacity controller developed by any WLAN vendor to date that provides 28Gbps of throughput via two 10-Gigabit and eight 1-Gigabit ports; and the Advanced Mobility System Software (MSS), which delivers the industry's highest wireless reliability and availability. Both products are part of Trapeze's next generation Smart Mobile technology.
