Applications are being accepted from retailers, restaurateurs and those wishing to lease kiosks spaces for the 13th edition of Global Village this year.
Abdul Redha Ali Bin Redha, CEO of Global Village, said: 'As with every year in the history of Global Village, visitors will be able to experience exciting new facilities, rides and displays. In addition, visitors will also find many improvements which have been introduced to make the Global Village experience even more memorable.
'The season is just around the corner and we are more than happy to accommodate new concepts. There is still enough time to send proposals for creative and innovative ideas for events and entertainment.'
Since its inception in 1996, Global Village has witnessed the participation of 65 countries, represented by over 2,300 exhibitors and investors from across the world. Last year drew in the usual diverse mix of cultures, attracting a record 4.2 million people, resulting in a total visitor spend of AED600 million. Shopping grew by 11 per cent, specific pavilion visits by 63%.
The Global Village at Dubailand, a member of Tatweer has become the premier family venue where diverse cultures from around the world gather for culture, entertainment, adventure, cuisine and commerce.
Global Village announces registration for commercial outlets
Global Village at Dubailand, a member of Tatweer, has announced registration for prospective businesses and individuals, ahead of opening its doors to visitors from 13 December, 2007 to 1 March, 2008.

Global Village, a member of Tatweer, is Dubai's exciting and unique annual tourism destination and spectacular multicultural entertainment centre. Launched in 1996, Global Village made its debut on the Creekside opposite Dubai Municipality. It later moved to the Oud Metha area and then on to Dubai Festival City, until it found a permanent home in 2005 at Dubailand, the region's largest tourism, entertainment, leisure and lifestyle complex.
