DSA begins program to elevate quality of work and effective communication with customers

The Dubai School Agency (DSA), the first agency of the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA), concluded the first session of its training for the staff at the Administrative Services Unit (ASU).
The objective of the training was to provide the participants with the knowledge, skills, methods and expertise that would enable them to offer the best services. The training also focused on achieving effective communication within work groups. The program focused on developing the skills of change management, time management and effective communication with the team and the customers. It also dealt with using effective decision making and Neuro Linguistic Programming to reach the given goals.
Fatma Al Marri, CEO of the Dubai School Agency said, "At DSA we've set customer satisfaction as the standard of our success. This program is a step towards reaching our goals and we regularly emphasize this to our staff. This training program will be the first step to develop our staff and we hope to be one of the best agencies in Dubai for customer service. We intend to leave no stone unturned to achieve this."
Laila Baqer, Assistant manager for admissions at ASU said, "We learnt about positive thinking and this will be very effective in our work."
Abdulla Al Janahi customer service supervisor at ASU said, "The training was successful at all levels and was comprehensive in its approach. We have learnt that success comes with team work."
Suhaila al Murr, Admission coordinator said, "It wasn't new for me but the way it was presented provided us with the skills and information needed to apply this knowledge at the workplace."
DSA is continuing its developmental projects on all levels. It's working on developing its staff to reach customer satisfaction and to provide them with quality services. It is also working on a number of programs to develop teachers, students and administrators.

About the Knowledge and Human Development Authority
The Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) was established by virtue of Law No. 30/2006 by HH Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE, Ruler of Dubai. KHDA aims to develop the education and human resource sectors in the Emirate of Dubai, bringing it on par with international standards and prevalent best practices, while keeping in mind the requirements of the job market.

About the Dubai School Agency
Dubai School Agency was established by HH Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai Executive Council, by Decree No. 11/2007 as the first Agency of the KHDA.
As the first entity of the KHDA, the Dubai School Agency will oversee the development and management of school-based educational services in Dubai and will administrate the K-12 education sector in both, public and private schools. The Agency will emphasize high standards of quality, bringing it on par with international standards while maintaining cultural and social values.
