In previous years, the show has witnessed strong participation from CIO's and senior-level managers, representing over 30% of attendees from the fields of Corporate Management, IT Network Management, Operations Management, and Research & Development.

Industry feedback has indicated that many of the top decision-makers are looking to effectively maximise their time at major ICT shows. In response to their demanding schedules, GITEX TECHNOLOGY WEEK has introduced the GITEX TECHNOLOG Y WEEK Priority Club.

Sponsored by Sun Microsystems, the Priority Club is yet another progressive initiative designed by DWTC to enhance visitors show experience at one of the world's top three ICT exhibitions.

This new addition will provide members at the show with a number of benefits including fast track admission, access to an exclusive Priority Club Lounge, convenient Priority Club reserved parking and priority access to selected networking events.

Members will also have access to a unique concierge service that will ensure their visit runs as smoothly as possible, helping them locate specific companies on the exhibition floor and even guiding them through the schedule of conferences.

"The Priority Club is another customer focused initiative of GITEX TECHNOLOGY WEEK aimed at optimising the experience of senior executives visiting the show. We strive to create an environment that is conducive to meaningful business interaction, where the industry's top CEO's and managers can achieve the highest level of productivity during their visit to the show,"

said Helal Saeed Al Marri, Director General of the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC), organiser of the show.

By providing the right tools, GITEX TECHNOLOGY WEEK will help senior decision-makers achieve their objectives and create an exclusive environment that fosters high-level networking opportunities and encourages innovation.

"Sun Microsystems is proud to be sponsoring GITEX TECHNOLOGY WEEK Priority Club, as we believe it is a progressive, value-enhancing addition that will help create rewarding and productive opportunities for many of our clients attending the show," said Deena Habib, Marketing Manager, Sun MicroSystems MENA.

As part of a wider strategy and repositioning, the Priority Club joins other new initiatives launched this year including the inaugural GITEX TECHNOLOGY WEEK Global Conference and Gadget Glam Showcase.

GITEX TECHNOLOGY WEEK will run from 8-12 September 2007 at Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre (DICEC) featuring three dedicated industry events: GITEX Business Solutions, GULFCOMMS and Consumer Electronics, and will be held in association with GITEX Shopper, which takes place from the 6-12 September 2007 at the Airport Expo Dubai.
