Cisco signs strategic agreement with Public Pension Agency

Cisco, the worldwide leader in networking that transforms how people connect, communicate and collaborate, formed strategic alliance with public pension Agency to deploy advanced networking infrastructure based on IP technology, at the Dhabab Towers Business Park, Riyadh.
"The agreement comes as part of Cisco's commitment to transforming the Saudi real estate and construction sector", said Dr. Badr bin Al-Hamoud Al-Badr, Cisco's KSA Managing Director.
Dr. Badr added: "Through the adoption of a converged IP network, the Public Pension Agency will achieve a secure, intelligent and scalable network which will help reduce operational costs and help increase productivity."
Cisco is set to deploy state-of-the-art solutions across the 8- building Dhabab Towers Business Park. Offices across all buildings will enjoy smart solutions and secure Internet connection based on Cisco technology.
Engineer Naser Al-Awdan, IT Park Project Manager of Public Pension Agency and Dr. Al- Badr attended the signing ceremony which was held at the Dhabab Towers headquarters.
The designed architecture falls under Cisco's Real Estate and Construction (REC) framework launched in Saudi Arabia earlier the year.
The framework is based upon the convergence of network infrastructure and building systems on to a single Internet Protocol (IP) environment. REC automatically and securely connects developers and tenants to innovative amenities, applications and features that allow people to do things, better, faster and cheaper.
