Kuwait delays deadline

Kuwait has once again delayed the application deadline for foreign companies seeking to bid for a 26% stake in the country's third mobile phone operator, reported Reuters. The original deadline of August 7 was pushed forward by a month but the Kuwait Investment Authority has now said the 'tender process is being revised' and no new date has been revealed. The likes of Batelco and Etisalat may bid for the stake.
