Dubai Silicon Oasis to unveil premier initiatives during GITEX 2007

Commenting on this participation, Jassim Mohammed, Director of Business Unit-Dubai Silicon Oasis Authority (DSOA), said: 'DSO has always been committed towards positioning itself on the local and global level, and GITEX is yet another opportunity among many other exhibitions, to strengthen DSO's presence and work on building new and solid relationships with different investors and international and local companies working in the Technology Industry, in addition to sharing investors and potential partners with the best range of facilities provided and support systems to start up and flourish within the park.'

He added:

'Dubai Silicon Oasis will reveal several milestones and highlight its state-of-the-art infrastructure that has been specifically custom-made to meet up the requirements of international technological companies working in microelectronic and Semiconductor industry, to commence their operations with no delay. With the wide platform of technology companies attending the exhibition, Dubai Silicon Oasis Authority will communicate the comparative advantage of operating in the UAE in general and inside the Silicon Oasis in specific.'

During the five-day event, exhibitors will have the chance to explore more about DSO, and know about new agreements and announcements, which will be unveiled at the stand located at Z- B 10 in Zabeel Hall.

Dubai Silicon Oasis is a wholly-owned entity of the government of Dubai and operates as a free zone technology park for semiconductor, microelectronic and other High Technology-based companies looking to set up their regional headquarters and R&D facilities in the Middle East and Africa region.
