An extension to the manufacturer’s warranty, the new customer care initiative is available at all Jacky’s Electronics and Jacky’s Express outlets, and will cover mechanical or electrical failures.
“As one of the UAE’s largest electronics, appliances and IT retailers, we constantly look for ways to better understand factors impacting our relationship with customers and partners to further enhance our service offerings,” said Ashish Panjabi, Chief Operating Officer, Jacky’s Group of Companies.
“Through this initiative, we are strengthenening our value proposition to our customers and providing them with assured after-sales support at a fraction of the price manufacturers offer in their warranty.”
Additionally, Jacky’s has a dedicated hotline to help customers benefit from the service. The company’s customer service executives and sales staff have undergone intensive training to inform customers about the additional coverage available on all products sold at Jacky’s.
“Our experienced team is now adequately placed to not only help shoppers make informed purchasing descisions, but also in assisting them opt for their right choice of cover,” added Panjabi.
While the Extended Warranty matches a product’s lifecycle, it also provides customers with the assurance of obtaining genuine parts and access to authorised repairers. Under the cover, Jacky’s also replaces products that cannot be repaired within the defined period.
Jacky’s is also introducing an ‘Instant Replacement Plan’ wherein products that are defective after the warranty period will be instantly replaced when brought to the retail outlet.
Jacky’s’ Extended Warranty programme and Jacky’s Instant Replacement Plan will also be available on products sold during the company’s upcoming Ramadan promotion and GITEX Shopper 2007 - where it will have a presence in all three halls at the Airport Expo.

The UAE’s number one multi-brand retailer, Jacky's Electronics, today launched an Extended Warranty programme, to provide shoppers with up to four years of cover on all domestic appliances, consumer electronics plus IT products, mobile phones, digital devices and gaming consoles.
