AUST welcomes 1,500 students in Ajman Campus

Ajman University of Science and Technology organized a welcome ceremony to 1,500 new students in Ajman Campus in the presence of the parents and AUST academic and administrative staff.

In his welcome address, Dr. Ahmed Ankit, vice-president for External Relations and Cultural Affairs, welcomed the new students and highlighted the facilities made available to them: "An elite team of faculty members, updated methods of teaching, a well resourced library of more than 145,000 books, hostels and transportation."

He said: "This is the fundamentals AUST invests in, in order to lead an innovative environment where every one is given the chance to excel and invent". He concluded by encouraging the incoming students to use to the farthest extent all the available resources and services and be ready to go through the Business community.

After revealing the academic calendar for 2007-2008, Dr Basheer Shehadeh Vice President for Follow up and Development and the deans introduced themselves to the students and explored some details related to the registration. The attendees were invited then to visit their faculties while ushered by faculty representatives.
