In a simultaneous promotion, Virgin Megastore shoppers at Mall of the Emirates, City Centre and Mercato will have the chance to win one of eight SAE Certificate Courses in Film, Audio, Multimedia or Animation.

Equipped with a mixing console and high end computer software, the specially-designed SAE Institute mini studio will showcase the world of new media and SAE Institute's role in developing career opportunities with its cutting-edge curriculum. Also included in the stand, SAE Institute will be promoting their brand new Digital DJ course by installing the latest digital consol used increasingly by professional DJ's. The M-Audio Torq system will allow DJs to mix, scratch, and add effects to music using a laptop and specially designed hardware.

Marco Bettelli, Managing Director, SAE Institute Asia Pacific and Middle East said: "We, at SAE Institute are very proud to join forces with Virgin Megastore in the first of what we hope will be many synergistic activities. Virgin is a world-wide retail leader in music and creative media and SAE is recognised as the pre-eminent educator of these segments. We are indeed very excited about this new alliance and look forward to a long and fruitful relationship."

Bettelli continued, "Our set-up at Virgin Megastore is designed to give visitors a quick glance into the high calibre of equipment used to train students at SAE Institute. We see this as a great opportunity to bridge the gap between the community and the Institute, especially with those who have a passion for music, film and technology and would be potential students of SAE."

SAE's interactive exhibition will highlight an exciting opportunity for shoppers in Virgin Megastores in MOE, City Centre and Mercato to win one of eight acclaimed certificate courses at SAE Institute Dubai. During the period of the promotion, customers who purchase from Virgin Megastore will automatically receive a SAE flyer which offers them the chance to win one of the eight short courses in digital filmmaking, electronic music production, multimedia or digital animation.

Every single purchase in all Dubai Virgin Megastore will include in the shopping bag the SAE flyer which includes the entry form during the two week period of the promotion. Eight short courses at SAE Institute Dubai will be won by shoppers who describe in less than 25 words why they would like to win a short course at SAE. SAE branded entry boxes will be placed in the stores for customers to drop their application forms.

The 3x3 metre interactive kiosk has been designed to convey SAE Institute Dubai's high-tech resources. It includes small audio-mixing studio and a plasma screen, where visitors can use a recording console to mix music tracks to create a tune, with the assistance of staff if they request it.

Jason de Wilde, College Manager, SAE Institute Dubai said, "This exhibition reflects our desire to provide exciting and interactive insights into the world of creative media. The public will have the chance to speak to SAE Institute management to discover more about the technologies that are transforming education and the job market. At the same time, we are running a competition for all Virgin Megastore shoppers by offering them fantastic opportunities to compete for free courses in four ground-breaking fields of digital media."

With the growing demand for specialised training in media in the Middle East, the SAE Institute identified Dubai as the perfect location to set up a multi-disciplinary learning centre. SAE Institute Dubai is the first institution in the UAE to offer a full range of learning programmes ranging from certificate to degree and post-graduate degree.

In the heart of Dubai's education hub, Knowledge Village, SAE Institute Dubai delivers unrivalled training by experienced industry figures on state-of-the-art equipment. It is dedicated, above all, to developing the capacity for creative thinking that will give its students the crucial edge in the workplace.
