Al-Aman Fund beneficiaries gain real world corporate experience through the Fund's internship program

Open to Fund beneficiaries soon expecting to finish the requirements for their academic degrees, the annual internship program is designed to last 4-6 weeks, giving those who enroll a chance to acquire a sense of what it feels like to operate within a real work environment. Through this program, beneficiaries will gain valuable experiences related to their fields of study while effectively boosting their self-confidence and enhancing their communication, time management, and teamwork skills.

Lina Kopty, Chairperson of the Board of Directors, said, "All of the Support Schemes offered by Al-Aman Fund are a result of the vision of the Fund's founder, Her Majesty Queen Rania Al-Abdullah, and her ongoing efforts to secure a better tomorrow for the orphans of Jordan." She added, "We believe in the abilities of our young beneficiaries, and we are, therefore, continuously striving to provide them with new educational and work experiences. The Fund's "Apprenticeship and Employment Support Scheme" comes as a result of this. We would like to sincerely thank all of the Jordanian institutions that support programs such as these, and we hope that they will continue to offer their financial and emotional support."-Continued-

Al-Aman Fund signed memorandums of understanding with several Jordanian institutions, stating that these internships offered to the Fund's beneficiaries will last 4-6 weeks, after which the beneficiaries will receive a financial reward for their work accomplished. The companies participating in this primary phase of Al-Aman Fund's "Apprenticeship and Employment Support Scheme" are: the Jordan Kuwait Bank, the Egypt Arab Land Bank, and the Arab Orient Insurance Company.

Commenting on Egypt Arab Land Bank's involvement in the program, Mr. Hazim Yousef, General Manager, said, "The bank's participation in Al-Aman Fund's program, by training 11 of its beneficiaries at our different branches, stems from our commitment to serve the community and our belief in the importance of securing a better life and a better future for our country's youth."

Mr. Issam Abdel Khaliq, General Manager of the Arab Orient Insurance Company, further explained, "Arab Orient's contribution to the "Apprenticeship and Employment Support Scheme" falls directly in line with the company's strong sense of social responsibility. We feel that by contributing and by supporting these youth, we are helping them to become a successful and productive part of Jordan's economy."

Mr. Mohammad Yassir Al Asmar, General Manager of the Jordan Kuwait Bank, said, "Our bank's contribution to this program, by providing practical work experience to the Fund's beneficiaries, is a reflection of the desire of the Jordan Kuwait Bank to play its part in serving the local community and fulfilling its social responsibility. We are hopeful that training these youth will help them to improve their skills, identify their career paths for the future, and become part of a productive workforce that helps build and support the national economy." He added, "We would like to acknowledge the effort put forth by Al-Aman Fund in order to achieve its goals, as well as its supervision of these youth throughout their studies, during their training, and after their transition into the workforce."
