The extension of this attractive offer will specifically benefit those people who are returning after their summer holidays.

Announcing the extension of the bundle offer, Qtel Chief Operating Officer, Sheikh Fahad Bin Jassim Al Thani, said: "Inspired by our customers' response to the Nokia-Hala scheme, we have extended the offer for our valued customers. This bundle offer is beneficiary for both the local residents as well as expatriates. In support of the continous development of Qatar, Qtel has been bringing new technology and offering ultra-modern services like Mozaic, which enables the 3G phones included in the offer to work faster. We are pleased to see that a large number of people have already been benefited from the CGC-Qtel tie-up once again by availing of this fantastic bonanza."

Speaking on the Nokia-Hala bonanza, Anil Mahajan, Head-Business Development, CGC, said, "The duration of the scheme has been extended due to the great demand of customers. As people are still returning from their summer holidays, it is important that we extend the period of the bundle offer, which has already benefited thousands of customers. The SIM bundle offer that kicked off on 15th July stirred up tremendous excitement in the mobile market registering record sales. It was the sheer demand that compelled us to extend the offer period so that the maximum number of people could reap the benefits. This bonanza is special as it offers a wide range of Nokia phones along with a Hala SIM card at very reasonable prices. Our efforts are always to provide the best possible facilities so that people get value for their money."

Stressing that Qtel is always at the forefront to provide latest technology and services to the people, Senior Manager (Sales-Consumer Business Unit) Soren Bostrup-Sorensen stated that "Qtel is now providing Hala SMS Roaming, a new service which enables pre-paid customers to send an SMS while roaming abroad on any of Qtel's roaming partner networks". He explained that under the bundle offer, the Hala SIM line has a built-in cash credit and an initial validity of 120 days. Customers get their validity automatically extended by topping up their call credit.

The Nokia-Hala SIM bundle offer is available at all CGC-Nokia showrooms and authorized dealers across Qatar. Those people, who missed the opportunity to avail of the wonderful offer, now have additional time to pick their Nokia phone along with a Hala SIM line.
