While welcoming the new students, Dr. Husni Charif, on behalf of Dr. Omar Hefni (President of UD), expressed best regards and lent them his good wishes and emphasized the efforts undertaken by UD for providing them the best educational and academic levels.
The university, which organizes this annual ceremony each semester, inspires its students to continue their higher education and seeks to provide the best educational environment for them, especially in academic fields that suit local market needs. The courses in UD are almost similar to those found in American and European universities and the faculty bears degrees and certificates from distinguished universities.
Dr. Charif also emphasized the importance of perseverance in gaining knowledge and the importance of choosing majors which suit a student's temperament and abilities that enables him to achieve his ambitions and desires.
All the departments of the university were spotlighted during the ceremony and their educational patterns were explained.
