Since inception in 2000, DIC has rapidly grown into a strategic base for technology-based companies targeting emerging markets. In fact the number of companies at DIC focusing on smart technology has been growing over the last few years.

This will be the seventh consecutive year for DIC at GITEX Technology Week, illustrating the zone's as well as the industry's vibrant growth.
The 1,310 square metre community zone will be located at the Dubai World Trade Centre in concourse 2, between hall 8 and the Sheikh Maktoum Hall from 8-12 September.
The DIC Community Zone will include a range of leading global ICT brands, regional majors and innovative small enterprises. They include: Advanced Systems, Arab Internet Standards Organization, Clarendon Parker Middle East, Cognos, EastNets, eDocuMAN, EMW Middle East, Financial Technologies Middle East, Fluke Networks, Gemalto, GulfTalent.com, Infocomm Group, Infor Global Solutions, Infrasoft Technologies, Integrated Business Technologies, Interconnect, Lattice Gulf, LINKdotNET, Naizak, Net Solutions, Secure Way, Sophos, Souq.com, 3M Vikuiti & 3DCO.
In addition to the parent company TECOM Investments, DIC's sister entities such as Dubai Outsource Zone, eHosting DataFort, SmartCity and ENPARK (Energy and Environment Park) will also be part of the DIC Community Zone.
DIC's key sponsor will be Dubai First, the first consumer finance company from Dubai Holding. Du, the new telecom provider in the UAE Dell, Intel and Samsung will be DIC sponsors at this year's GITEX.
A series of panel discussions will give visitors to the DIC Community Zone an insight into the latest industry trends and technologies in the region.
