1. Scott Pickering, 40, was appointed Chief Executive Officer of ACE Insurance, South Africa in February 2006. Previously he held other senior roles at ACE including, Managing Director, New Zealand (2004 - 2006), Regional President, Far East & Japan (2002 - 2004) and President & CEO, Hong Kong & Regional Director South East Asia (2002). He joined ACE in 1999 as a Country Manager in the Philippines.

He spent 10 years at CIGNA (1989 - 1999), holding a number of senior roles including COO, Australia & New Zealand in 1998.

Scott is from New Zealand and married with 4 children.
