HP to launch hot new products at GITEX Technology Week 2007

HP Middle East announced today that it will roll out a series of new products during Gitex Technology Week 2007 including three feature—rich cameras, two all-in-one Photosmart printers and one Deskjet printer - designed to help consumers capture and print their memories.

Highlights include a truly portable photo-printer that allows consumers to draw, tag and edit their photos using a stylus and a digital camera with the largest touchscreen LCD display of any compact digital camera in the industry. HP is the Gold sponsor for GITEX Technology Week 2007.

For consumers in need of affordable printing solutions, HP will launch the HP Deskjet D2460 Printer, printing everyday documents, web pages and photos was never as easy. HP Smart Web Printing prevents cut-off edges, while a one-touch, print-cancel button saves paper and ink. Included software makes sharing photos simple. Ideal for the home or small office, the HP Deskjet D2460 Printer is compact with a standard 80-sheet fold-up tray designed to allow users to print and store in small, convenient spaces. Easy to set up and use, the HP Deskjet D2460 Printer is made to last and deliver consistent results.

For amateurs, HP will be launching 2 top class digital cameras, the HP Photosmart R742 and Mz67. The stylish HP Photosmart R742 Digital Camera features an all-metal body that easily slips into almost any pocket or purse. Easily snap 7-megapixel photos and view them on the bright 6.35cm (2.5-inch) image display screen. With industry-leading in-camera red-eye removal and easy-to-use shooting modes, this camera makes taking photos simple and fun.

The HP Photosmart Mz67 Digital Camera features a big 6x optical zoom. Consumers can snap 8-megapixel photos and easily view them indoors or outdoors on a bright 6.35cm (2.5-inch) display.
