Jumbo celebrates 17 years of successful partnership with GITEX Shopper

As part of the mega promotion, Jumbo Electronics will give away one laptop free to a lucky shopper every hour. With prizes worth a whopping AED 500,000 to be won, shoppers will have an opportunity to win not just a range of products, but also a chance to win super cash certificates.

Addressing a press conference in Dubai today to announce Jumbo's participation at the region's largest IT exhibition for a record 17 years, Mr. JP Nambiar, Head of the Retail Division, Jumbo Electronics said: "Dubai's growing popularity as the region's consumer electronics and IT hub, and a diversified profile of visitors from around the world have largely influenced Jumbo Electronics' continued participation at GITEX Shopper. The win-a-laptop every hour promotion was a big hit with consumers last year, and this year too we will run a similar promotion with additional prizes."

The astonishing GITEX offer from Jumbo will see 10 lucky shoppers going home with a laptop every day for seven days. Shoppers spending a minimum AED 500 on IT and office automation products at the Jumbo stalls and select Jumbo stores during the week-long GITEX Shopper will be entitled to a raffle coupon for the hourly draw for the laptop.

In a separate promotion, the Nokia stall at the Jumbo pavilion will provide shoppers buying a Nokia mobile phone a scratch-and-win coupon that will give them the chance to win a Mashreq Millionaire cash certificate and become a millionaire.

Meanwhile, the Sony Ericsson stall at the Jumbo pavilion will also offer shoppers the chance to win its new feature-packed mobile phone, the W610 every half hour daily during the exhibition. Shoppers buying a Sony Ericsson mobile phone will receive a raffle coupon to enter the Sony Ericsson raffle draws.
