UOB students awarded for completing training session at CrediMax

As part of its ongoing efforts to contribute to the country's youth and talent, CrediMax, the Kingdom's pioneering card issuer recently congratulated five University of Bahrain (UOB) students on the completion of CrediMax's summer training programme that commenced from 3rd June 2007 and proceeded till the end of August.
The under-graduate students spent 12 fruitful weeks at CrediMax under the guidance and supervision of managers and supervisors, where they gained knowledge and experience in various fields that range from marketing, operations, collection and sales, to customer service.
'The hands-on training that we provide at CrediMax play a vital role in contributing to the professional development of the Kingdom's youth and talent, thereby opening up many doors to a brighter future,' said Shaikha Taleb, Head of Human Resources at CrediMax.
CrediMax has successfully conducted 9 such training programmes in the past where students have gained additional experience which benefited them in progressing in their studies and future career.
'The summer training programme has been designed to complement the students' university education and equip them with a range of valuable, business skills that will give them a competitive advantage when they enter the workplace,' Ms. Taleb further added.
CrediMax plays a vital and substantial role in developing Bahrain's economy through its focus on delivering strong results via measurable progress. Their commitment as an active and responsible corporate citizen is evident from its range of activities that include creating jobs, seeding technology, improving standards of living and supporting sustainable economic development.
