The Communications and Information Technology Industry - a fundamental component for the progress of society - is leading Egypt's future with the support the Egyptian government, represented by President Hosni Mubarak, Prime Minister Ahmed Nazif and Minister of Communications and Information Technology Tarek Kamel, who spare no effort to make it grow and thrive.

Egypt's ICT industry is a growing industry with enormous potential. The country enjoys a extremely strategic location in the center of the Middle East, state of the art telecommunications infrastructure, a large of pool of IT professionals, a boom in telecommunications services in addition to a lot of other indicators of success which is available on www.citegypt.com/Indicators.asp

For more than 10 years, the Egyptian companies has been participating in one of the most successful and prominent CIT exhibition in the Arab World, Gitex Technology Week in Dubai.

The Egyptian participation is headed H.E. Dr Tarek Kamel Minister of Communications and Information Technology. Under H.E. Dr. Kamel auspices and H.E. Eng. Sultan El Mansoury, Minister of Government Affairs,UAE, Egypt is organizing a Workshop "Egypt and UAE ...Partners for Success" on Sunday - September 9th 2007, 12:45 - 16:45, at Al Morouj Rotana Hotel, The Conference Hall

The aim of the workshop is to explore opportunities of successful partners from Egypt and UAE through expanding the Arab expertise in implementing successful Initiatives of Public private partnerships to have a regional dimension through partnership. In addition to that, how to benefit from the regions business and technical capabilities to lead new opportunities in the Off-shore & Outsourcing industry especially in areas of Software development, Technical Services, BPO, KPO

The Workshop will be followed by the Egyptian Night to act as excellent networking opportunitiy between companies, government officials and MNCs from Egypt and invitees from Arab countries exhibiting in Gitex. The Egyptian Night is under the auspices of H.E Dr. Tarek Kamel, Minister of Communications and Information Technology Sunday - September 9th 2007, 19.30 - 23.00 p.m., at the Ballroom - Al Morouj Rotana Hotel.
