'Leaders of the pack seeking monster performance will not look any further. With four execution cores in a single processor, the Intel Core 2 Extreme QX6850 quad-core processor blows through processor-intensive tasks in demanding multitasking environments and lets you enjoy the best gaming experience,' said Samir Al Schamma, Intel General Manager, GCC. 'Join us at DIC community Zone, have fun and show your fellow gamers if you are up to it!'

The Intel Core 2 Extreme processor delivers an amazing computing experience for gamers and enthusiasts who want paramount performance from their desktop system. With the new Intel® Core™ microarchitecture, the Intel Core 2 Extreme processor QX6850 is the latest desktop processor to implement four computing cores in a single socket. This quad-core approach provides unmatched performance on highly-threaded applications and super system response when you're doing some monster multitasking.

added Al-Schamma.

The performance and technology leadership Intel is delivering with its enthusiast quad-core processor lineup is a direct result of the reliability provided by Intel's manufacturing and engineering strength. This translates to user benefits such as better gameplay with more intelligent computer-generated opponents and less wait time for demanding high-definition media editing.
