Oasis' sponsorship of this event is aimed at bolstering the company's position in the finance and leasing market and is in line with the company's objective to highlight the key role played by the leasing sector in the growth of the region's aviation sector.
"We are pleased to be a key sponsor of this annual event which has emerged as an important knowledge-sharing platform for the region's aviation sector. Industry events such as this, give us the opportunity to not only pursue new business, but also network with peers and partners," said Salem Rashid Al Noaimi, Acting CEO of Oasis Leasing.
"The aviation sector in the region is becoming more and more competitive with the emergence of new industry players and expansion of regional airlines. In order to take advantage of these opportunities, we have redefined our business strategy and have recently upgraded our leasing and financing programme to help increase operational efficiency,"
said Al Noaimi.
During the conference, Erik Dahmen, Senior Marketing Director from Oasis will be one of the panellists during a session on operating leasing on the second day. Other sessions at the two-day conference will focus on projected growth in the region's aviation sector, funding options, aircraft valuation trends, besides also featuring several case studies from the Middle East.
Oasis previously attended three major industry events earlier this year - the Marine Money Week, held June 19-21 in New York and the 5th Annual China Airfinance Conference in Shanghai held June 27-28, as well as the 47th Paris Air Show at Le Bourget, Paris held June 18 - 24.
During the first half of 2007, the company also undertook a tour of selected countries in the Middle East and North Africa to brief the public and private sector players about leasing and other financing solutions that the company offers.
