Dnata Travel partners with SABB to offer 'Easy Buy'

Dnata Travel has tied up with The Saudi British Bank (SABB), to offer Dnata Holiday Products under the SABB 'Easy Buy' programme.

This is the first time in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia a project of this nature has been launched for consumers of travel products. The 'Easy Buy' programme is a fully Shariah-compliant retail instalment product from SABB designed to offer Dnata customers a third payment alternative to cash and credit cards.

Aimed at middle income group including both Saudi Nationals and expatriates, the 'Easy Buy' programme is now available for travellers who buy travel packages from Dnata Travel, which would include a combination of air tickets, hotels and a variety of travel services.

Mr. George Ambooken, Dnata Travel General Manager, KSA said: "Dnata Travel is delighted to partner with SABB to offer the innovative 'Easy Buy' programme. We are once again first in the market to offer travellers a unique solution and we are confident that our customers in the Kingdom will welcome having this additional payment option."

Mr. Abdullah Al Suwaiket, Dnata Travel Executive Director said: "As a service provider, Dnata Travel takes pride in understanding the local market and our customers' needs. Our customers here tell us they want to have choices - whether in terms of services and product range, or in the way they do business with us. We are thus glad to partner with SABB to offer our customers more financial flexibility in planning their travel."

As an initial step the offer has been introduced from Dnata's retail and leisure outlet located on King Abdul Aziz Street in Al Khobar; but the facility will gradually extend to other Dnata Travel outlets in the Kingdom. SABB has established a representative desk in Dnata Travel premises to facilitate the clients interested in availing of this service.

Mr. Nabil Al Hoshan, SABB General Manager Personal Financial Services said: "The 'Easy Buy' programme has been gaining in popularity since its launch earlier last year, and it has been our aim to expand the retail reach of this programme so more customers can benefit. We are very pleased to partner with Dnata Travel which will enable travellers in the Kingdom to avail of our programme for their dream vacation or tailored travel product."

Customers can now afford to purchase their Dream Holiday Packages while effectively being able to manage their budgets. Dnata Travel is the first Travel Company in the Kingdom to offer this unique service.

All the customer needs to apply for the 'Easy Buy' programme is: a valid Saudi ID or Iqama and a valid ATM card from any bank in the Kingdom. In special cases where a credit bureau record is unavailable one of the following is required: a stamped letter from the employer stating monthly salary, a bank statement showing deposit of salary or other monthly income or a salary slip.
