The exhibition, which takes place from September 10 to November 18 at Emirates Palace, is held in partnership with the Moscow Kremlin Museums and will display a wide range of precious exhibited objects that have never left the Kremlin grounds previously.

On this occasion, H.E. Sheikh Sultan Bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Chairman of ADACH commented, 'This important cultural event will undoubtedly fortify the bilateral ties between the UAE and Russia and will strengthen the cultural exchange between the two nations.' He also emphasized the importance of maintaining strong intercultural ties between people of all nations, and the significance of arts and history in bridging the gap between the world's nations.

'Hosting this important event has multiple benefits. In addition to the cultural perspective, the exhibition will also allow young Emiratis to participate in the preparation and organization processes; therefore providing training in the fields of culture and arts, since training UAE graduates is one of the most significant investments in the country, and is also one of the Authority's main goals. This will ultimately develop a base of young Emiratis and will give them the opportunity to contribute to preserving the cultural heritage of Abu Dhabi,' H.E. Sheikh Sultan Bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan added.

H.E. further stated that bringing cultural events to the UAE introduces historical and renowned relics from prominent international museums to our people and encourages young Nationals to progress and nurture their innate artistic talents.

'ADACH is working hard in light of the vision of his H.H. Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan to encourage cross-cultural relations and strengthen Abu Dhabi's position as a cultural meeting point between East and West. We will also unveil a multitude of cultural events and initiatives in the near future that will place Abu Dhabi on the international cultural stage,' stated H.E. Sheikh Sultan Bin Tahnoun.

Commenting on the exhibition, Dr. Elena Gagarina, Director General of the Kremlin Moscow Museums, said, 'The Kremlin Moscow Museums is one of the most established museums worldwide and houses the main tokens of the Russia's wealth, including the state regalia of Russia's grand princes and tsars, gold and silver tableware, magnificent, richly decorated garments, weaponry and suits of armour and a ceremonial horse tack and harness. All of these were created by Russian, European and Oriental jewellers, armourers and masters of all manner of decorative arts.'

'The Museums' vast collections span the period from the 4th to the 21st century, and its history has known exhilarating periods of dynamic growth as well as hard and thorny periods of struggle for the preservation of national cultural and historical heritage. It was destined by fate itself to become a major collector and custodian of Russia's national cultural and artistic treasures - a shrine of our ancestors' glory', Dr. Gargarina concluded.
