Bahrain City Centre to host Spanish fashion label Sfera

In a year's time, the Bahrain City Centre is set to be home for Spain's El Corte Ingle's youngest fashion chain, Sfera, which specializes in youthful urban wear and accessories.

Sfera is a fashion brand which bets on the quality, the continuous evolution on a very assorted collection and on specialized customer service.

Constantly, Sfera offers collections inspired by the latest fashion trends which results into comfortable and actual garments at a competing price to cater the most demanding shoppers to find their own style. Bahrain City Centre is a landmark development for Bahrain, with three-levels of shopping and leisure; It will have 330 retail units, spread out over a total Leaseable area of 150,000-square-metres. A total of 317 units have signed lease deals, with tenants ranging from the world's most recognizable brands to popular local retailers, catering to all tastes and budgets.

The opening of the Bahrain City Centre is going to be in the second half of 2008, with 97% of the stores being leased already, and with 20 screens Cineplex, an Indoor\outdoor water park, the long awaited Virgin Mega store, SAKS 5th Avenue, H&M, Home Centre, Paris Gallery, Zara and other top brands, Bahrain City Centre is going to be the main destination on the Kingdom.

Sfera has stores in the best commercial zones of the main Spanish cities and in countries such as Portugal, Belgium, Greece. The first outlet in the Middle East was opened recently in Kuwait.

Explaining its interest in the Middle East, Santos Navas, Commercial and Marketing Manager for Sfera explains, "We feel that it is the right time to establish a significant presence in the Gulf, given that there are a lot of fashion forward people from the Middle East who shop in Europe and appreciate Spanish fashion brands."
