Musandam captivates Starcom MediaVest Group MENA
- United Arab Emirates: Thursday, September 06 - 2007 at 12:07
- PRESS RELEASE
The Dubai office of Starcom MediaVest Group MENA celebrated the year's many business wins and industry awards, appropriately enough, with a dhow trip to the celebrated Musandam Peninsula.
Among the accomplishments of the region's leading media strategy, planning and buying agency was collecting 12 prizes, including six golds, at the inaugural Campaign Middle East Media Planning Awards held in December 2006, naming Starcom MediaVest Group MENA as Agency of the Year. As well, six of its clients were recognised for the effectiveness of their communication campaigns in six categories at the GMR Effectiveness in Marketing Awards (GEMAS) held in February, entitling them to a total of eight awards including the Grand Prix.
SMG MENA also has retained telecom giant Saudi Telecommunications Co. and added an impressive list of blue-chip companies, including GlaxoSmithKline, the buying for Coca-Cola Egypt and Welcare World Health Systems in Dubai.
"It is through the energy, innovation and intellectual capital of our team that we continue to contribute to our clients' business successes with a wide variety of communications that captivate consumers. This relaxed, but beautiful and visually stunning trip demonstrates the agency's recognition and appreciation of this fact," said Philip Jabbour, SMG MENA Group Director, Marketing and Business Development.
