The completion of 100 episodes gives the programme the distinction of being the longest running Asian, locally produced, weekly show with original content that gives audiences a complete round-up of the most pertinent and exciting breaking stories around the Middle East.

Gulf Pulse first went to air on 7th October 2005, and since then it has captured the spirit of the Asian expat communities in the Middle East. The one-of-a-kind, path breaking show features unique stories in all its 3 segments which give highlights of the most interesting events to take place across the Middle East in the previous week as well as the most anticipated activities for the upcoming week.

Lending a touch of glamour and intellectual poise to the show is anchor Bhavna Radhakrishnan, an eminent television personality, who summarizes and analyses all major breaking stories.

Speaking about the show, Manoj Mathew, VP - Marketing and Corporate Communications, Real Media-Zee Network, said: "Gulf Pulse is one of our leading shows in terms of Zee TV's line-up of customized programming for the Middle East. Over recent years, we have put a great deal of emphasis on locally produced shows with 100% original content that can serve the needs of the diverse Asian communities in this region. The immense fan following cultivated by the show suggests that Gulf Pulse is definitely capturing the pulse of these audiences".

The show covers topics as diverse as tourism, ecology, real estate, business, currency, national politics, fashion, and local infrastructure. It also boasts of a dedicated research team which collects and collates news as and when it unfolds.

Rajeev Kheror, Creative and Programming Head, Zee TV Middle East, said: "I am delighted to witness the completion of 100 episodes of Gulf Pulse. The show has really lived up to its mandate and its popularity is to be attributed to the great dedication of its team of producers especially Jacqueline Chinhauching and her writers and researchers. The program is driven by our desire to produce an authentic current affairs show. Hence, our researchers work very hard to double- check facts and statistics, to eliminate any exaggeration and to present objective, balanced perspectives."
