Mubadala, Etisalat tie-up

Abu Dhabi's Mubadala Development Company and Etisalat are to provide telecommunications services in Nigeria, reported Gulf News. Mubadala was granted a 15 year licence in March to offer mobile, fixed line, voice and data services as well as establish an international gateway. Etisalat will be the operating partner and will hold a 40% stake in the new telco firm, with Mubadala retaining 30% and the remainder held by Nigerian investors.
