Pakistan Software Export Board participates in GITEX Dubai

Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB) is participating in GITEX Dubai 2007, which will be held from September 8th to 12th this year.
These companies include:
AZM Computer Services (Pvt.) Limited -specializing in business process reengineering & ERP implementation; MIXIT Technologies -offering services to domestic and international financial services industry; Netsol -providing automated and IT enabled solutions around the globe; Descon Information System -offering services in Software Development and Document Management/Data Entry; Ikonami -undertaking business transformation programmes to help organizations leverage technology; Kraysis -providing Software Quality Assurance Services; Concept -developer of cutting-edge technologies; Infotech -offering Management Consulting, Technology Solutions, Systems Integration and Outsourcing Services; Intagleo System -providing Digital Signage for Multimedia Advertisement, Surveillance Systems, Financial Systems and Document/Knowledge Management; and Efrotech -providing services for the development of software-based web and client server solutions and media presentations.
Participation of PSEB's member companies in GITEX will bring forth positive outcomes for Pakistan's IT Industry through establishment of new alliances and a boost in outsourced work. Pakistani companies look forward to doing business with their counterparts in Dubai and to networking with financial services, as well as technology leaders.
PSEB has been participating in GITEX exhibitions consistently in the past and the response has been encouraging. Several Pakistani IT companies have developed successful business relations while more than ten companies have now established their own offices in Dubai.
Pakistan has a great potential in IT sector outsourcing services and its participation in the upcoming GITEX will help increase multiple interaction between UAE and Pakistani companies, Aon A. Rana, Director International Marketing, PSEB said, "We will also showcase the achievements of our local IT companies that will surely attract the foreign companies," he expressed the hope.
PSEB is a Government agency mandated to promote Pakistan's IT Industry including software, services, hardware and call centers locally and globally. Pakistan's IT exports crossed USD 1 billion in the last year and IT exports growth in each of the last four years has been 50%. PSEB has been facilitating the IT industry through its programs in Human Capital, Office Space, Marketing, Company Capability Development, Telecom Bandwidth, Industry Finance, Public Policy, Strategy & Research, and Facilitation. The IT industry of Pakistan is currently valued at USD 2 billion with an IT workforce of 110,000, growing at almost 20,000 a year. There are more than 125 ISO certified and CMMI rated IT firms in Pakistan.
