"We currently have over 100 clients across the MEA region, mainly concentrated in the services area. We are confident our debut at such an important industry event as GITEX, will rejuvenate our ties with existing customers and partners, and forge key new relationships within the industry,"
said Peter Toumazi, Sales Director C&E Europe, Middle East and Africa, Ingres.
At GITEX, Ingres has unveiled its Business Intelligence (BI) appliances and Ingres 2006, an open source database solution that provides enterprise-level functionality, services and support.
"Our information management solutions and services such as Ingres 2006 will help enterprises strengthen their database management system, coupled with the low cost and ease of use of open source software - a clear alternative for customers and partners."
Additionally, Ingres is highlighting its latest BI products - pre-configured software packages that enable companies to implement business services quickly and manage information within the organisational structure more effectively using ready-made analytics.
"BI projects are one of the highest priorities for CIOs and our offering represents a strong commitment to providing customers a comprehensive solution that can address costs of ownership, integration and maintenance," said Steve Shine, Executive Vice President, Worldwide Sales & Services, Ingres.
"Through our presence at GITEX we will demonstrate at the pavillion of Emirates Computers how our business model can deliver unparalleled value to customers."
Ingres will be present at Emirates Computers' pavillion at GITEX TECHNOLOGY WEEK, to be held at Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre, from 8th to 12th September 2007.
