Sony Gulf eyes revenue boost

Sony Gulf is aiming to increase its sales revenue in the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region by about 30% this year to hit $1.3bn, up from the $1bn earned in 2006, reported Gulf News. Osamu Miura, Sony Gulf's MD, said high definition products were driving its sales and LCD flat screens were its most lucrative segment. The firm claims a 30% market share in LCD flat screens across the region.
