Kuwaiti companies implement Oracle solutions from Hyperlink

- PRESS RELEASE
Hyperlink, a leading integrated solution provider in the Middle East, has been recently awarded several key projects in Kuwait's financial and public sectors.
Hyperlink's most recent success in Kuwait is the implementation of Oracle in Kuwait's public sector for the first time. It is currently developing a system for Kuwait's Public Authority for Industry in Arabic. "As most of the government's employees are Arabic speakers, we applied the Oracle solutions in Arabic which is a real achievement," says Ghassan Jamil, Hyperlink's regional sales manager.
"Hyperlink has taken the lead in implementing Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solutions in Kuwait. Information is the key to taking optimal business decisions in the fast-paced knowledge economy. Our ERP systems, based on an Oracle platform, place vital information at the fingertips of key executives, allowing them to explore various options and reach cost-effective decisions quickly," said Najwa El Natour, Manager - Hyperlink.
Burgan Bank has become the first bank in the region to implement Hyperlink's Oracle HRMS and Payroll 11i solution. Hyperlink implemented the turnkey solution, which included mapping the business requirements according to the application, development of the prototype system, training of the project team and supervision of the data conversion from the legacy system, in a record six months. The implementation of this solution allows decision makers at Burgan Bank to acquire more information and enables them to take decisions that are more cost-effective.
"Kuwait's corporate and financial sector is known for its forward-thinking policies and several companies are taking the lead in re-evaluating their existing systems in view of the new integrated solutions on offer from Hyperlink," said Jamil. "By implementing the Oracle HRMS and Payroll systems, Burgan Bank has only demonstrated its commitment to being a people centric organisation, which always keeps the interests of its employees in mind," he added.
Another business house that has implemented an ERP solution from Hyperlink is the Sultan Group, which comprises a public warehousing company, real estate agency and the Sultan Centre, all of which functioned as separate entities. The Oracle application has ensured that the three companies of the Sultan Group are fully integrated and can now share information from a common database. This has resulted in streamlining the financial systems leading to better time-management and cost effective measures.
"It was outstanding to see how the ERP system fully integrated the three companies and facilitated the Sultan Group to achieve tremendous success. Before we installed the software, the companies did not share common information, and hence often duplicated procedures," explained Jamil.
Hyperlink's successful implementation of the Oracle-based ERP solutions improves the financial performance of companies and institutions by integrating financial data, standardising manufacturing processes and better relaying information. Companies that implement such technology eventually reduce costs and become more time-efficient. Hyperlink also customises these technological programs to suit the local and individual requirements of companies in the Middle East.
