Orange Business Services has announced the signing of a three-year, multi-million US dollar deal to provide an IPTV operating platform for
Solidere, the Lebanese Company for the Development and Reconstruction of Beirut Central District s.a.l.

It will be delivered, installed, supported and integrated into the existing Solidere-operated private broadband network that was designed
and deployed by Orange in 2006. This MPLS network supports a range of multimedia services alongside a scalable internet gateway including
video-on-demand, videoconferencing, closed circuit television, and gaming services.

The IPTV operating platform, the first of its kind in Lebanon, is being implemented by Orange under its Solutions for Operators banner which
specifically addresses the needs of existing or new telecoms operators like Solidere whose strategy is to offer next generation telecommunications services as a core component of their real estate developments to assure previously unobtainable revenue streams.

Lionel Reina, vice president of the Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa region, Orange Business Services, said: "We are forging new
boundaries with Solutions for Operators. We're seeing a great deal of interest from property developers like Solidere who want to enter the
telecoms market, especially in the Middle East. They recognise that the 21st century city needs 21st century telecoms services, and that's
precisely what Orange Business Services is delivering through our world class expertise and the strength of the France Telecom group's overall position as the leading integrated operator. It's a very exciting time and we are first off the starting block."

The implementation of the Beirut Central District Broadband Network (BCD-BBN) by Solidere is a key element of the up-grade of Beirut's
telecommunications potential and will launch Beirut into the 21st century high-tech arena to transform the city center into a 24-hour living IT Zone. This will give rise to added business activities, create new jobs and position the Beirut City Center as a high profile mixed-use regional real estate development in the region.
