- PRESS RELEASE
As part of their participation in GITEX 2007, outstanding and special offers from the Ras Al Khaimah Free Trade Zone (RAK FTZ) has been unveiled to scores of world majors in IT and businesses.
Participants and visitors to the fair will be introduced to the tempting offers the RAK FTZ provides and will also be briefed on the world-class services and state-of-the-art facilities the zone provides for enterprises. "The undisputed package the RAK FTZ offers during the GITEX 2007 will be the right chance for IT companies to set up new bases in the region," said Oussama El Omari, the zone's Chief Executive Officer.
El Omari said "We are taking part in GITEX once again this year as a part of the zone's marketing campaigns in the UAE. The RAK FTZ will capitalize on the earlier successes achieved in its earlier participations in GITEX."
He highlighted the importance of establishing connections with the world's leading IT companies interested in expanding their operations in the region. "GITEX will give us greater exposure and gets us in direct contact with major potential clients," he said.
A large number of IT companies are operating in RAK FTZ already, and a number of them have participated in GITEX 2007, to promote their products and services to the participants and visitors.
"It is essential to understand that investment will never become successful without the up-to-date technology which is playing a larger role in our lives," said El Omari, adding that the RAK FTZ has provided its clients with the world's best technological solutions as an added value to land them in an ideal environment to run their businesses.
The RAK FTZ in partnership with Tejari have created a new online portal which offers e-business capabilities to the zone's clients who can promote their products and services to international customers online.
