The D-Link NetDefend Firewall Family had to pass a series of rigorous tests, including system installation and configuration, setting security policies, system management, system logging, event testing, port security and more. Not only did the NetDefend Firewall passes these tests, but it also earned praise from ICSA Labs' Network Security Labs for unique features in the web administration interface that allow administrators to safely make changes to the firewall's configuration remotely.
