With this partnership, the points earned on the Etisalat scheme can be converted to Skywards miles to redeem flights, upgrades and whole range of other retail and travel rewards. This was announced at a press conference at the Etisalat GULFCOMMS stand, by Essa Al Haddad, Chief Marketing Officer, Etisalat, and Ghaith Al Ghaith, Executive Vice President, Commercial Operations Worldwide, Emirates.

All Etisalat customers are now able to register for their 'MORE' account, at www.etisalat.ae/more. Apart from a Welcome bonus of 500 Points and a special introductory bonus of an additional 500 Points for all who register, there is also an additional 200 bonus Points for all customers registering online, making it a very attractive proposition to begin a MORE account already loaded with 1200 Points.

Essa Al Haddad, Chief Marketing Officer, Etisalat, said:

"MORE is growing to be a ground-breaking way for rewarding our customers, and we are constantly creating new and exciting additions to the programme, bringing immense value to all our customers. MORE members earn points by simply using Etisalat products and services, and will also be automatically upgraded to the next tier when their usage crosses a certain threshold. Our customers will now stand to enjoy an enhanced lifestyle simply by continuing to use Etisalat services."

"Working with Skywards, the frequent flyer programme of Emirates Airline, to create a reward scheme has been an experience, as we had access to the systems and processes of the best in the industry. It is a fitting tribute to our work together that Emirates Airline's Skywards is now announced as our first partner for this programme, allowing our customers to convert Etisalat points to Emirates Airline Skywards miles and redeem the points on Emirates Airline and Sri Lankan Airlines. We are eager to see the roll-out of this programme, and to offer a complete solution with benefits for our customers and our partners", he added.

Ghaith Al Ghaith: "We are excited to be a part of the MORE programme from its inception. We believe this partnership wil be embraced by Etisalat customers, and will expose more people in the UAE to the rewards of the Skywards programme."

Etisalat customers will be able to merge up to 3 mobile accounts in one 'MORE' account, and earn points on the usage of each of these mobiles. This programme is open to all individual subscribers of Etisalat services, and the reward points are at the rate of 1 point for every AED 1 spent.

MORE members can use the reward points that they accumulate to pay for Etisalat services, including paying the bills on their service usage, or recharging prepaid accounts such as their 'Wasel' mobile phones.

Customers will be able to earn as well as redeem reward points with a wide range of MORE partners. These include brands and companies in the airline, hospitality, retail, lifestyle enhancers, and many other sectors.
