QIA may team up for LSE bid

The Qatar Investment Authority (QIA) may team up with an Italian consortium of three partners to launch a bid for Nasdaq's $800m 31% stake in the London Stock Exchange (LSE), reported Reuters citing Italian daily Il Sole 24 Ore. Since Nasdaq revealed its plans to sell its stake last month, the likes of Deutsche Boerse, Borse Dubai, ASX and Singapore's Temasek have all been linked.
