BMC joins STME, a current member of the Symantec Technical Support Partner Program and has provided Symantec technical support to its customers for more than three years. Participants in the TSPP provide technical support to its customers on Symantec products.

The support provided by STME and BMC will allow customers to receive the technical expertise and support needed to maximise the availability, performance and manageability of their business critical data.

"The Middle East is a fast-growing region for Symantec, and it is essential that we broaden our channel's capabilities to ensure that all customers receive excellent service and support," said Katie Spurgeon, Channel and Alliances Manager, Symantec, MENA.

"Symantec has partnered with companies like BMC and STME to provide not only just a product, but to provide solutions to customers to help them manage risk effectively and ensure their data is not compromised."

Bashar Hawwari, General Manager, BMC commented, "BMC is pleased to be appointed as a member in the Symantec Technical Support Partner Program as Symantec products have always been a key component of our offerings. With the new program in place, we are sure our customers will benefit hugely from our enhanced end-to-end solutions capabilities."

The result of this program is a seamless support experience that has been designed to help partners build and maintain a Symantec practice that delivers an environment in which interactions, information and infrastructure are protected, efficient, compliant and resilient for customers.

Jocelyn Al Adwani, Deputy CEO, STME said, "STME has been distributing Symantec software since 1999 and its relationship is growing stronger each year. Being accepted into the Symantec TSPP increases STME's credibility with its customers as a trusted partner of choice that ensures all their needs are met."

TSPP applicants are required to meet the following requirements to become a member of the program and to provide technical support for authorised Symantec products. In addition, TSPP members are continually monitored by Symantec to ensure they provide high quality technical support to their customers.
