Tripp Lite launches new power protection solution for the medical sector

Tripp Lite is also displaying its other latest products and networking solutions at the seminar from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. to a high-profile audience of power professionals from around the world.

The medical grade Mobile Power Retrofit Kit is the newest addition to Tripp Lite's wide range of healthcare products designed to protect valuable patient data from being lost or corrupted. It features an Isolation Transformer-Internal, which provides UL 60601-1 compliance by managing current leakage, and is also equipped with the PowerAlert Data-Saving Software, which automatically saves open patient data files and safely closes applications if battery is depleted or utility power is disconnected while the cart is unattended. Additionally, a USB port connects the power supply to any cart-mounted laptop or desktop.

Other features of the Retrofit Kit include the User-Replaceable Battery Module and Automatic Transfer Switch-Internal (ATS). The battery module supplies power for as long as needed between charges (up to 12 hours in standard configuration), and automatically recharges when power supply is connected to a wall outlet. It is also maintenance-free, spill-proof, leak-proof and has a simple plug-in connection with accompanying cable. The ATS works automatically, whether plugged in or mobile and allows the power supply to simultaneously run connected equipment while recharging the battery module.

The SMX1500LCD is a Line-Interactive Digital UPS System that offers voltage regulation, surge suppression and long-lasting battery support for personal computers, network workstations, home entertainment systems and media centers. The APSX1250F is a DC-to-AC inverter with faster automatic line-to-battery transfer and integrated charging system, which serves as an extended-run UPS, a stand-alone power source or an automotive inverter. The APSX1250F supplies up to 1250W of continuous 230V AC power to two AC outlets from any 12V battery or automotive DC source. Other power solutions up for exhibition are the APSX6840VR, PVX700HF, PVX1250 HF and the NB1099BK.
