China is number one for Iran

China was Iran's largest trading partner in 2006, replacing Japan, according to the Iran Daily citing data published in the Kyodo News. Bilateral trade reached almost $14.5bn - a rise of 43% and edging out two-way trade with Japan which amounted to $12.3bn. China increased its imports of Iranian oil and construction materials, while Iran received more electrical goods and automotive parts.
